The owner of this car had bought this truck for his wife and after a few months it started to have transmission issues. He got a quote from a local shop for over $4,500. He did some research online and find me and boy was he happen with my offer.

Symptoms;

Owner explain in the morning the truck would engage in reverse and drive just fine. But after driving the truck from a while it would lose reverse and slip between 2nd and 3rd gear.

 

Problem;

The 1,2,3,4,5 & reverse drum had developed a cracked. So the drum was releasing pressure which was causing the transmission (6l80e) not to work properly.

 

Solution;

Order the updated drum from GM and replaced all the frictions with high energy frictions.
