The owner of this truck operates his own tint business next to the shop. He has own this suburban for a few years. He was aware that I rebuilt transmission so he wanted me to take a look at his Baby (that what he called the truck).

After evaluated and test driving the truck, I explain to him that he needed to have the transmission rebuilt.

Symptoms

No 3-4 gear

Issue

there was a crack in the Input drum causing the pistion not to apply, the 3-4 pistion was worn along with the clutch pack.

Solution

Remanfacture input drum, master rebuild kit, new torque converter
