Owner of this truck was complaining that is truck was not shifting properly. After test driving it myself I notice that the truck only had two gears. The truck would move forward into first gear and would shift pass second into third and would not go pass there.

Symptom;

No reverse, only 1st and 2nd

Issue;

The sun shell was stripped causing it not to engage the sun gear.

Solution;

replace the sunshell with a heavy duty one, added a master rebuild kit, new torque converter
