Owner of this truck brought his tranmission problem to me because is friend told him that I could take care of his problem.

Test drove the truck and it was not shifting properly at all. First gear was sluggish and the down shifts were not smooth at all. The only way to get this truck running smooth again was to take out the transmission and tear it apart.

symptom;

slipped in first, down shift rough,

Issue;

forward  drum rubber piston seal was damage, clutch packs were damage, over drive servo snap ring was broke, 2-3 accumulator spring was broke.

Solution;

add an over haul kit, add a Transgo correction kit to fix manufacturer defects and to improve shift quality.
