Owner of this truck was experiencing not able to get his truck to move into reverse, also his Yukon would not shift into all gear range while drive the truck. The truck only had two gears 1st and 3rd gear.

This was his wife truck and she needed it back asap. They were on a budget and the original shop where they took the truck was outside of their budget need.

Issue;

Only had to gears 1st & 3rd

Problem;

The sun she’ll was splined out

Solution;

Replaced the sunshell with upgraded master sun shell, added a master rebuild kit with a new torque converter.

The sun shell attaches to the sun gear. The sun shell has teeth that splines to the sun gear. When the teeth of the sun shell are worn out it is no longer engage to the sun gear, causing no reverse, 2nd, & 4th
